1. *HOW TO ENTER INTO RAGP VTU* -
a. You must register in any of the packages in RAGP (basic to
Platinium), then with the same log in details you open a VTU
account by clicking the VTU option on the back office of your RAGP
account. Note that *VTU* option is the last item on the horizontal
menu board in your RAGP Back Office (using laptop, but vertical if
using mobile). See this pix.
b. When the VTU page opens, u will see *create*
c. You create your VTU account then you can log in immediately and
view your account. Congrats!
2. *VTU ICONS* -
a. Overview:- This gives you a one-time summary of how your VTU
account looks like. It shows your username, VTU balance (how much
money you have available for buying airtime, data or cable
subscription) and USSD balance. USSD (Unstructured Supplementary
Service Data) is a Global System for Mobile(GSM) communication
technology that is used to send text between a mobile phone and an
application program in the network (we shall leave this for now as
I believe it is not fully functional on our platform - though I
stand to be corrected)
b. *Fill VTU balance*:- This enables you to fill your VTU wallet
with ewallets to enable you make airtime and sorts purchases. When
it is clicked, below opens, where you can input any amount you want
to transfer from your RAGP ewallet account to your VTU wallets
account. Note that the amount here can never be withdrawn as cash.
Click on the arrow right side of the amount for any amount you
want, then click "fill account". Ensure you have such amount in
your RAGP ewallet account though.
Immediately you will get a series of messages on your screen "RAGP
e-wallet has been updated" and "Your VTU Account has been credited
and your Recharge and Get Paid e-wallet has been updated". click
"OK" on both and your "VTU balance" on your VTU home page is
updated with same amount. Automatically the same amount is deducted
from your RAGP ewallet account (if it does, refresh).
c. *Fill USSD balance*:- Already i have explained what this means
and the non-functunality for now, so we move to next one
d. *Transfer to a friend/family*:- On clicking this icon, you will
have the ability to transfer airtime to MTN, Airtel, GLO or
Etisalat networks.
So just input the Receiver's phone number in this format
*080XXXXXXXX*, select the network provider name, select the amount
you want to transfer, then click transfer. and Voila....airtime is
gotten by that number within seconds. See attached pix
Automatically, your "VTU balance* in home page of your VTU wallet
account reduces by that same amount.
e. *Buy data plan*:- This menu icon (attached pix) allows you to
transfer/sell data plans for all Nigerian network. Follow same
instructions as I outlined in (d) above. Toggle the necessary
arrows and when you are ok, click "buy". The requested data is
transferred and same amount subtracted from your VTU wallet
balance.
f. *Pay Your subscription*:- Here, you are able to pay cable
subscriptions (dstv, gotv and startimes). Toggle the switches in
each row for subscription, receiver's phone number, decoder number
and the package of the subscription.
Then click pay.
So Ladies and Gentlemen, that is all about the icons. Off course,
when through for the day or process, you click "logout"
